Demand Letter to the U.S. Congress

To our U.S. senators and congressmen,

We The People are in shock. Our form of government is changing literally by the week, as you run the largest racketeering operation in history.

You extort trillions from us for socialist redistribution, and you call it 'stimulus'. You pass a plan for a government service program that’s reminiscent of Hitler's Germany. You bail out and nationalize major companies. You seek to destroy the relationship to our doctors through a government takeover of that intimate area of our lives.

Now you tell us that whether we like it or not, WE are going to pay for it, from the sweat of our brow or go to jail! For almost a century now since at least 1913, you in Congress have violated our trust in honest government. You have violated our children’s minds and hearts with misinformation in government schools. You have violated our privacy and bank balances by turning your tax-collection agency into the terrorist equivalent of the Gestapo.

We are seething with rage; you swear an oath to support the Supreme Law of our Land, then you violate it with impunity. Almost every day, you in Congress and now a long string of puppet presidents and their cabinets commit high crimes against the People. You think yourselves untouchable.

Obviously, you’re doing all of this against our consent, in clear violation of our Supreme Law. Just what are you thinking? Look across America in a thousand communities, from March until November 2009, for eight solid months, we’ve been building in numbers and determination. Millions of us have demonstrated, petitioned, and even sent you pink slips; all to no avail.

Do you know what we’re thinking? We the People, your employers, have had enough! These are our children, our homes, and our bank accounts. We are a free People, with unalienable rights granted by God. We are the creators and masters over you, our creature government. We don’t want to overthrow our government; nor do we have to, because our forefathers gave us the most magnificent governing law in human history besides the Bible, and that is our U.S. Constitution. James Madison, the author of that Constitution, also gave us the principles under which to enforce that law of limitation of the federal government.

We The People here resolve in Christ’s name, that this year’s marches were our final display of rage and impotence in the history of this blessed republic. No more marches. Now we begin to enforce that law.

Our AmericaAgain! Declaration is a list of high crimes that you in Congress have been committing for generations, and our list of reform legislation that We The People will draft and have you pass in coming years. To regain 150 years of lost liberty, AmericaAgain! will draft and assure passage of the following legislation:

Enact a congressional Term Limits Amendment
Immediately and retroactively de-fund all Congressional pensions and perks
De-fund any tracing, tracking, or eavesdropping on law-abiding citizens
Enact a Balanced Budget Amendment
Enact a Monetary Reform Act to repeal the Federal Reserve Act
Outlaw the immoral practice of fractional-reserve banking
Declare English as the official language of the United States
Declare illegal any Islamic law that is repugnant to the U.S. or State Constitutions or local ordinances
Take immediate action to secure our borders and outlaw the illegal alien anchor baby tactic
Direct the IRS to stop fraudulently applying law
Outlaw federal restrictions on law-abiding ownership and use of firearms
Begin enforcing the War Powers Resolution of 1973
End taxpayer support for the United Nations
End federal restrictions on our own private land, water, and minerals...and finally...
Repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments

We’ve never practiced self-government before, as our founders intended us to. But as we study in the Patrick Henry Hall™ of our AmericaAgain! website, right from our own computers at home, whenever we want, We The People will share ideas and create a growing grassroots enforcement mechanism that can last as long as the Constitution.

This Thanksgiving, we will again do what George Washington called Americans to do on the same day 220 years ago on Thursday, November 26, 1789: give thanks to God for our many blessings, especially this glorious Constitution.

By your corruption, arrogance, and sheer insolence especially over the past year, you have made Atlas shrug. After five generations of federal corruption, keeping us divided and conquered to do your will…now We The People will do the dividing and conquering; we will bring you home to face the law.

We will not shrink from our duty of self-government, so that God might make us AmericaAgain!
